Female rock group, Chatmonchy, will be releasing their new mini-album, "Awa Come," on October 27th.
The title of the album means "we came from Tokushima", and it will aim to show the difference between their current work and their debut album from 2005, "chatmonchy has come." The mini-album will contain four songs that were originally made around the time of their debut, but were never released.
The group decided to stay in their hometown area of Tokushima after their "Kao to Kao Tour" during the summer, and they then went straight to the recording studio to produce new tracks for the album.
"Awa Come" will feature a college string group on the song "Aikawarazu", and Chatmonchy member, Fukuoka Akiko, produced the songs "Second Present" and "Mata Chikai Uchi ni". Fans will definitely see a new, relaxed Chatmonchy on the album.
Since this album will be coming out near the 5th anniversary of the rock group, they are also planning to hold anniversary concerts in celebration. They are currently scheduled to have billboard live shows in both Osaka and Tokyo for the event named, "Go Nen Me no Uwaki," which will be an acoustic show. They also have their Christmas live, "Santa ga Nakano ni Kissu shita," on December 18th.
