AI celebrates 10 years with single, album, and concert

allkpop

Hip-hop/R&B singer AI has her new collaboration single, "STRONGER" feat. Kato Miliyah, slated for release on October 27th, but that isn't the only thing she has planned for her 10th anniversary year.

AI has also just announced a new album for December that will be titled, "THE LAST A.I." This release will be a part of her 10th anniversary celebrations, and will continue to highlight her wonderful collaborations with artists such as Namie Amuro, AK-69, Judith Hill, and K'naan.

Her new collaboration with her personal friend Kato Miliyah is also causing a lot of excitement. When AI offered the part to her friend, Miliyah said, "Finally! I felt tremendously honored. It was like feeling my dream become reality." "STRONGER" is already done being recorded, and it's described as being a catchy number about moving forward, even when you are hurt.

The coupling track for the upcoming Kato Miliyah single is no less impressive, and it's called, "Let it go," featuring the American rapper Snoop Dogg. The single will come out in the traditional two versions: CD regular and DVD limited edition.

"THE LAST A.I." album will definitely be the cherry on top of her 10th anniversary celebrations, as it will be her first full album release since "VIVA A.I." back in March of 2009. It will contain the singles she has released since then, plus a new track that is a collaboration with Chaka Khan and BOYZ II MEN.

AI will also be holding her 10th anniversary live at the Tokyo Budokan on November 11th. The show will be called "Densetsu NIGHT", and she already has over 20 guests lined up from her new album and other collaborations to join her.
