Oda Yuji’s movie “Amalfi” to get adapted into a drama series

It’s been revealed that 2009 movie, “Amalfi Megami no Hoshu“, in which Oda Yuji stared in, will come back as a drama series titled, “Gaikoukan Kuroda Kosaku.” “Amalfi Megami no Hoshu” is a movie about a diplomat, Kuroda Kosaku (Oda), who investigates a case about a young Japanese girl kidnapped off the streets of Rome. The entire movie was shot in Amalfi, Italy.
In the upcoming drama, Shibasaki Koh will play a detective and Oda’s new partner. The shoot has already started, and they will also shoot in San Francisco and Mexico. Other than Oda and Shibasaki, Kagawa Teruyuki, Kaho, and Kusakari Tamiyo will also join as cast members.
“Gaikoukan Kuroda Kosaku” will start in January 2011.
