V6 Okada Junichi now a martial arts instructor
During a press conference, V6’s Okada Junichi revealed that he has received his licenses to be a martial arts instructor. Yes, that’s right – Okada obtained not one, but two licences! He is now qualified to teach the Filipino martial art ‘Kali’ and Bruce Lee’s ‘Jeet Kune Do‘.
It was reported that Okada has been practising Kali since 2007, when he used the martial arts as a secret weapon in the “SP” (“Security Police”) drama series. He must have enjoyed the experience; right after the drama finished, he started training for Jeet Kune Do. Due to his dedication, he’s now an official martial arts instructor.
The press conference was held to promote the film ‘SP THE MOTION PICTURE’ which is set to open in theatres on October 30. The movie is a continuation of the “SP” drama series, originally aired back in 2007.
