The trio of idol superpowers have been teasing about it for a while, but now AKB48, SKE48, and SDN48 have officially announced the details of their "AKB48 Request Hour Set List Best 100" fan favorite event.� This year the event will be held at the SHIBUYA-AX from January 20th through the 23rd and will feature a set list chosen by fans themselves.

The event is a yearly performance set from the idol groups that showcases the fan favorite songs.� These shows have been a tradition since 2008, making this event in 2011 the 4th annual occurrence.� Last year the top song was "Iwake Maybe" from AKB48.

This year voting will feature the new single "Beginner," which has already shipped in record breaking amounts.� Fans who pick up the single, due out tomorrow on October 27th, will get the chance to vote along with fan club members and mobile site members.� Voting opens up officially on October 26th and will go all the way through November 30th.

All the songs up for voting are streaming on the official site so fans can pick and chose their favorites.� Actual tickets to the special request event will go on sale at a later date.
