The demand for the telegram has been decreasing due to the popularization of text message and email, therefore, NTT Higashinihon is holding a campaign to spread the virtues of using the telegram. �On October 12th, there was a press conference for the campaign, and Hoshino Aki appeared with the comedian duo,�Hokuyo.

NTT Higashinihon has released a new character telegram using Hello Kitty, and it comes with a little doll of the character. �Hoshino appealed, "You can send cute messages, so I hope young people will use it casually!" �The campaign will continue throughout October.
