SNSD, also known asShoujo Jidai, recently ranked second on the Japanese Oricon Charts with their second Japanese single, 'Gee'.
'Gee' nabbed a second place finish in the Daily Oricon Charts on the day of its release (October 20th), marking thebest achievement that any overseas girl group has accomplished in the Japanese market thus far.
SNSD also placed fifth on the charts with their first single, 'Genie', back in September, which subsequently attained the 'Gold Disc' certificate after selling over 100,000 copies. It quickly became the best ever selling album by any overseas girl group promoting in Japan.
Meanwhile, SNSD are set to make a surprise comeback this coming October27th with their 3rd mini-album, 'Hoot', and are scheduled to promote activities simultaneously in both Korea and Japan.
