Have lunch on the "Butler's Express"!

allkpop

Back in September, when a maid cafe became an 'on-the-go' service, it didn't take long for it to be a success. What otaku can turn down maid service, and on a train to boot?

Well now the ladies can have their turn, but only if 150 people sign up for it. Kinki Nippon Tourist agency and Tokyo's butler cafe, Swallowtail, are teaming up to bring in Japan's first "Butler's Express". It's a train service, much like that of the maid train cafe, but with cute boys that will come running when you call for them.

On December 19, seven [train] cars will offer lunch and afternoon tea to those who embark on the line. There will be about 20 butlers on call. It will be a one-day trip, and will cost passengers 18,900 ($225 USD), but again, that's only if they can get 150 applicants to join.

The butler cafe, Swallowtail, is located in Ikebukuro a.k.a "Otomoe Road" - a place where many female otaku like to shop and meet up.

The schedule is as follows:
9:30~9:45 A.M. - Departure from Ikebukuro Station
12:00~2:00 P.M - Lunch time
4:00 P.M. - Arrival at Ikebukuro Station

Sample Lunch Menu Items:

Fresh fish in the style of Meuniere (South France)
Saute Beef with vegetables (Japanese style)
Coconut Gratin
