Demonstrating for 23 years that beauty isn't an exclusive female trait, the "23rd JUNON Super Boy Contest" was held on November 23rd. Judging the contestants this year were drag queen�Mitz Mangrove, actor/model Sawamura Ikki, and model/himegyaru icon Masuwaka Tsubasa.

There were also numerous special guests attending the event,who were all previous winners and finalists of the pageant. Koike Teppei, Yamamoto Yusuke, Mizobata Junpei, Miura Shohei, Ichikawa Tomohiro, Watanabe Shu, and Suda Masaki.

Contestant�Katoono Taikou (18) was chosen as the 'Grand prize' winner among 12�finalists (total applicants amounted to 15,132). He commented, "I can't still believe it. �I want to thank to people who supported me... and, Thank you mom."

The following contestants also nabbed some distinctions as well:
