AKB48’s ‘No Sleeves’ to be main MCs for the first time

AKB48’s sub-unit, No Sleeves, will tackle their first stint as main MCs for TBS’s ”Kyun Kyun ~Dakara Moteru! Koi no Kyun-teku 2010~“.

Scheduled for broadcast on December 27th, the No Sleeves members - Takahashi Minami, Kojima Haruna, and Minegishi Minami – will try to be “cool women” by learning little techniques to grab men’s hearts. The girls will learn how to text the guy after the party, how to hold a microphone during Karaoke, which songs one should sing at Karaoke, and many more!

As supporters, Matsushima Naomi (of ‘Othello’), and Yuki Maomi will make their appearances.

    AKB48’s real goal is world domination. I, for one, welcome our new AKB48 overlords… errr… overladies.

    You can’t escape them. And you can’t not like them.

    Agreed, the show sounds silly (girls, stop being submissive like gum stuck to a shoe FFS), but oh well, it’s AKB48. I know I can’t escape it.

    Though, I really doubt they’ll need tips on “how to hold a microphone during Karaoke”, really, they don’t.

    Personally, I don’t see how techniques on how to grab a man’s heart make a woman “cool”. There are plenty of other, more important, factors.

    Why do they never ask men on what makes a woman “cool”? How would a woman know what makes a woman “cool” in the eyes of men? I know, I’m ranting again.
