Mano Erina tweets about listening to Korean groups B2ST and 2AM

Via allkpop:

Hello! Project solo artist Mano Erina has been tweeting a lot recently about listening to K-pop, specifically regarding boy bands B2ST and 2AM.

Showing her linguistic skills, she tweeted three times in Korean, once in English, and once in Japanese about the popular Korean groups.

On Christmas Eve, she wrote in Korean, “I will be taking a bath while listening to 2AM’s album!”  Then hours later, she wrote in English, “Listening to 2AM’Saint O’clock’ trying to go to sleep…Good night:)“.

Earlier today, she was at it again, and this time it seems that she has found B2ST to her liking, as she tweeted in Korean once again, “Today, I will be taking a bath while listening to B2ST’s album. Yoseob’s voice in ‘Lights Go On Again‘ sounds beautiful.”  Minutes later, she tweeted in Japanese for her domestic fans, “Today, I took a bath while listening to B2ST-san’s album.”  She was back to 2AM again before sleep though, saying in Korean, “Practice is over! I will be going to sleep while listening to 2AM’s album. I think how it would be nice if lots of people overseas would listen to my songs like this.  Ah~… Korean is hard…

Seems like the two groups seem to have gained at least one more celebrity fan.

Though perhaps most impressive was Mano Erina showing off her tri-lingual skills.  At only 19, it’s quite an accomplishment.

Hmm…No idea why there’s a huge influx of k-pop fans these days, even in my country, most of the Chinese used to listen to chinese songs but now whenever you talk to them, the first thing they ask is: “Do you know 2AM? or girl generation? or B2ST?” whatever,I answered. Not a fan,coz I dont like auto-tune.(No offense to all K-pop lovers) orz

In my eyes, she gained major points by listening to 2AM, lost them by mentioning Beast, and then regained them by mentioning 2AM again lol (majorly biased towards 2AM as they are one of the few Kpop groups I still listen to.)

I agree there were like 70 comments or more before now there is only about 20

To be honest, H!P makes me cringe, but she’s got some good taste. I approve.

  • Super~Nezumi

Way to show she’s not just a pretty face. I agree, spoken Korean seems hard to me while written is quite easy (NOT transliterated, that is “ARRRGH!”) Good for her to practice greeting the world, hope she gets her wish and people from all over listen & enjoy her music. Although…(and I know I’m gonna get pummeled for this XD) I don’t really like B2ST…

Yaguchi Mari and Umeda Erika also like kpop. :)

  • monsterlover

ah two of my fav groups
    they’re fantastic <3

  • Kttn

Hahah, I wonder that too. I got confused by all the “today I got a bath…”

  • Kttn

I don’t really fancy auto-tune either. All k-pop groups don’t use it, you know, you can still listen to k-pop artists. My biggest crush is dbsk, they don’t use it. :)

  • Kttn

But that’s great, k-pop is spreading among the people in the country of Japan~ I just wish that there would be some J-artists debuting in Korea as well and not only the opposite. That would be interesting, I think. Also imagining them trying to learn Korean just like how the Koreans learn Japanese… :)

  • Ayama

    Cool… It’s just because I also like those groups…
