We previously reported about how the legendary rock band, X Japan, was to contribute a new song for the upcoming animated film, "Tezuka Osamu no Buddha -Akai Sabaku yo! Utsukushiku" (or simply known as, "Buddha").

Titled "Scarlet Love Song", a small sample of the track was included in the official trailer for the film. Judging from the preview, it appears to be a ballad with that characteristic orchestration that we all know and love from the group. "Buddha" was based off a manga originally published back in 1972 by mangaka Osamu Tezuka. From�Prince Siddhartha Gautama to the enlightened spiritual leader, the series�provides an gritty take on the life of Buddha through four novels, which signify the four significant stages in his life.
