Hamasaki Ayumi attempts to overcome her height for basketball

“J-Pop Queen” Hamasaki Ayumi recently posted an amusing picture of herself on her official Twitter, making fans laugh at her adorable efforts to conquer her small stature.

Ayumi tweeted a blurry “action shot” of herself trying to play basketball, along with the caption, “Hmmmmmmmmm …trying.” The famous J-Pop singer stands at a mere 157 cm (5′1″), a height only exaggerated by the basketball hoop looming above her.

Fans cheered her on, commenting, “Go, Ayu, go!”, “Were you able to score?”, and “You can do it!”

    Haha. Though the height only really matters when she goes right at the basket for a dunk and similar. Distance throw, there height doesn’t matter.

    I think she’s closer to 5′2″. 157 is 5mm away from 5′2″. Gotta love measure tapes with both systems :P
