Guitarist/singer�Hotei Tomoyasu revealed an interesting tidbit about "Nausica� of the Valley of the Wind" through his�Twitter.
According to Hotei's tweet, �he created the chirp of "Ohmu" using his guitar. "Hisaishi Joe-san (who composed scores for Nausica�) asked me to make a�chirp�sound using my guitar. �This is�quite an old story."
Although the tweets was posted before daybreak on February 8th, it's been catching interest like wildfire, and has become a hot topic on the internet.
Originally released in 1984, "Nausica� of the Valley of the Wind" is one of Miyazaki Hayao's timeless masterpieces. "Ohmu" are the giant insects which play a pivotal role in the heart of the story.
