Apparel brand “earth music & ecology” is gearing up to release a new CM starring actress Miyazaki Aoi, who’ll sing an a capella cover of The Spiders‘ masterpiece, “Nantonaku Nantonaku“.

Previous commercials starring Miyazaki have been a huge hit for both the brand and THE BLUE HEARTS (whose song she’s been singing until recently). The concept of the new CMS will be to portray various small moments of happiness that you can experience in spring, including fishing and the harvesting of carrots.

For the two “carrot” commercials, she had to pluck out carrots from an actual field and drive back using a wheelbarrow wheel. At first she wasn’t really familiar with the work, and didn’t really know what to do; but it’s said that the actress always had on her face and was soon able to get the hang of it. In the “fishing” version, she’s said to have been brimming with energy as well.

Like with her earlier commercials, her adorable character and charms will likely boost both the sales of the brand and downloads of the classic song.
