Mukai Osamu lands on the cover of the latest “anan” + interview
Popular actor Mukai Osamu is on the cover of the latest issue of female magazine “anan“, which was released on February 2nd, and he expresses his thoughts on many things within its pages.
Mukai’s popularity skyrocketed last year, especially because of NHK’s morning drama, “Ge Ge Ge no Nyobo“, and even this year, he is in demand to appear in the Taiga drama, stage performances, movies, and more. However, Mukai calmly says, “Wasn’t that (referring to his high popularity) just because I had many opportunities to make appearances on TV last year? I also think the other reason is that it’s easy to put me into many different roles since my face is plain…but I’m very thankful that I have been given many chances to participate in great works.”
He also talked about love, “If you ask me whether I want to be popular or not, of course I want to, but I don’t know how to be popular in terms of love. Therefore, I don’t take any actions to be popular.” At the end of 2010, his alleged love relationship was reported in some gossip magazines, but according to Mukai, “I really do not have enough time to think about love now.”
Other than the interview above, there are total of eight pages showing many different aspects of Mukai in the magazine, and there is also close reporting on his upcoming movie, “Bokutachi wa Sekai wo Kaerukotoga Dekinai“, which will be released in September.
