Singer Nishino Kana, known as the "ringtone queen", has achieved over 25 million downloads for her songs and ringtones as of February 4th.

Since she debuted on February 20th of 2008, this means she has been active for 1081 days, so on average, her music was downloaded 23,000 times a day!

Her primary offerings are ringtones, digital downloads, and video clips for cellphones, as well as nine items downloadable to computers. �Nishino's record label recognized the official count, and as of February 2nd, it was a staggering 24,894,751. �Although at that point she needed about 100,000 more downloads, after a performance of her new song "Distance" on �TV Asahi's "Music Station", the song saw a sudden increase in downloads from viewers, thus putting her over the top.
