Singer SAYAKA, also known as Sayaka Kanda, daughter of legendary J-pop star Seiko Matsuda, will return to the music scene after a 6 year long absence. The singer released her first album, "Doll", early in 2005 and disappeared, leaving fans hungry for more.

Since her debut in 2002 with the single "ever since", SAYAKA accumulated a release total of 4 singles along with one album, and is now planning to release her second album this spring.

"LIBERTY" will be the singer's comeback release on April 20th, and will contain songs that contribute to the theme of "freedom" and choice, as the singer will navigate through J-pop inspired pieces as well as musical ones.

The long awaited album will contain 10 tracks in total, and will also mark 10 years since she debuted on the music scene. Four tracks will be new songs, while another four will be from musicals/movies, and the remaining two will be bonus tracks. One of these bonus tracks will be SAYAKA's debut single, "ever since".
