Popular video game "Devil May Cry" will be adapted into a Hollywood movie!

According to the American entertainment site indie WIRE, Screen Gems has purchased the rights to the "Devil May Cry" series and plans to adapt it to the big screen. The script is currently being written by Kyle Ward, the same scriptwriter from the upcoming game-to-movie film,�"Kane & Lynch". The director and cast for the film have yet to be announced.

"Devil May Cry" is one of Capcom's most popular series, and currently includes four games in its line-up (with a fifth game in production). In total, the series boasts impressive sales of approximately 10,000,000 copies worldwide.
