Many top Korean idols send an encouraging video message to Japan!

Via allkpop:

On a special SBS broadcast titled, “Keep Your Energies High, Japan!“, many of Korea’s top idols gave their words of support to their Japanese fans who are ravaged by the earthquake.

Rain, SS501’s Kim Hyung Joon, Brown Eyed Girls, TVXQ, Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Shindong, 2PM, SNSD, CNBLUE, MBLAQ, 4minute, B2ST, and SHINee’s Minho and Taemin appeared in the clip and gave words of encouragement to tell Japan not to give up and still hope for the best.

2PM’s Junsu said, “What we need the most are your support and interest. Please keep supporting the issue.“, while SNSD’s Yoona stated, “If we gather our love and sincerity, we can find the power and bravery to recover from a tragedy.

“talentless filth”? You can make a reasonable and sane argument without throwing insults at anyone. Those two words made your entire argument invalid

To be fair a lot of these artist company’s have already gone ahead and donated monetary support to Japan (the big 3 companies for sure) & I’m sure many artist on there own have also donated what they can as well.

It is important that the physical needs of those devastated are quickly taken care of but at the same time the impact of sure things like encouraging message & prayer shouldn’t be diminished either. I myself have did my best to donate what I can to Japan ( & will try to do more later if I can) but I continue to pray for the Lord’s mercy over that nation.

Although H!P hasn’t made a message or donation as a whole, the individuals have if you go and check on their blogs. Tanaka Reina and Takahashi Ai of Morning Musume has already donated to their cause on their own which I believe is worth more than just the company donating. Not only those two, others have stated on their blogs that they have donated, whether to the Ameba piggybank or other places.

Videos will not help, go donate.

  • arashi_oneday

Wtf is your problem dude? I don’t even know Hello Project but your comment is insulting in so many ways. You show your negative opinion on an article like this, do you have no life or morality? Get out of tokyohive if all you are going to do is make troll comments.

ZOMIGGGGWAHAHGSDYIFH… Rain !!!! people all over the world are cheering u on.. ganbatte kudasai~!!!

  • MinahMyu

Encouragement and helping emotionally is just as important. For all you know they probably did donate… (didn’t the big 3 already donate?) Money isn’t gonna erase your thoughts of seeing dead bodies floating around, or corpses stuck in buildings. I probably couldn’t handle that mentally… not sure about you

  • LilSaji

    OMG! Japan Ganbatte!!

  • MinahMyu

didn’t think Hello Project made up the whole Jpop idol music world… could have sworn there were many other celebs (and other idol groups) who donated a lot… but I guess I’m wrong… (sarcasm)

  • MinahMyu

I can care less about Hello Project so.. meh… if they wanna do something that’s on them… they’re not forced to do anything (seriously how many people/celebs cared about Katrina or Haiti or even the Tsunami in 04?…and how many people are even thinking about donating to countries who are already poor or people within the same country & state as them?) I really don’t expect everyone to do everything or anything.

  • off.jennvargas

i love idols and their heart warming words to everyone. Rain<3 MBLAQ<3 BEAST<3 Brown Eyed Girls<3

    OMG TAEMIN’S “GANBARE-” <3 <3 <3

    Get well soon Japan :(

  • Rue

    They did.
From what I know so far SM (shoujo jidai, tvxq, etc) donated $1 million & JYP (2PM) donated $600,000.

Just because tokyohive didn’t report it doesn’t mean it never happened.

  • margalovesjpop

Hi – I’m a 50 yr old man from California, USA. In reading through some of the comments, I’m probably in the wrong place :) but I don’t know how else to send a message to Japan. I am deeply saddened by the multiple tragedies that have befallen the people of Japan. I have always believed that Japan is a very old, and very honorable society, and the calm, caring, and resolute way your people are handling all this only re-enforces my beliefs. I wish I could do more, I wish I could come over and help – but I can’t. I can only send my love, to you all, my brothers and sisters, and to wish for you a speedy recovery, and healing. You’re a vibrant, wonderful culture, and you make the human race better for your existence.
