On March 2nd, singer/actress Nakagawa Shoko appeared at the Japan premire of "Rapunzel in the Tower" ("Tounoue no Rapunzel"; "Tangled" in the U.S.) in Tokyo. The story follows the Grimm Brothers original fairy tale, and Nakagawa was chosen as the lead voice actress for "Rapunzel".
Nakagawa showed up in a befitting dress to represent "Rapunzel" and said, "I really feel like I've become Rapuzel. It really felt like a flower was growing out of my head, and that Pascal (the chameleon) was my only friend." Given her constant admittance of love for the film, it must have been quite an honor for her.
The movie will hit theaters nationwide on March 12th in 3D.
