It was announced that the annual summer music festival organized by Avex, "a-nation" will be held this year and a press conference for the festival was held on April 21st. Artists such as TRF, Every Little Thing, Koda Kumi, Suzuki Ami, Goto Maki, GIRL NEXT DOOR, and ICONIQ attended the press conference.

This year will mark the 10th�anniversary for "a-nation" and it�is titled as "a?nation 10th Anniversary for Life" with the hope of recovery.

"a-nation" this year will be held at 5 locations (7 stages), and is planing to pull in 283,000 people in attendance. �It was also announced that 200 yen from each ticket sold will be donated, and all the profit from merchandise sales and a charity auction will also be donated. �Moreover, they will hold a free public viewing in the devastated areas. �Considering the energy consumption, they will use their own power as well.

On the official site, the first announcement for the artists line-up was revealed, and AKB48 will be attending "a-nation" for the very first time!
