On April 23rd, Arashi’s Ninomiya Kazunari, actor Matsuyama Kenichi, and actress Yoshitaka Yuriko appeared to greet fans at the opening of their movie, “GANTZ PERFECT ANSWER”. With the last installment of the series finally premiering, a smile of relief appeared on Ninomiya’s face at the sight of a full house. He said, “I’m happy there were people who were waiting for it so eagerly.” Matsuyama, appearing in front of fans for the first time since his marriage announcement, greeted fans with a smile, saying “I’m happy to be able to meet everyone today.”

Ninomiya, who also co-starred with Matsuyama one and a half years ago, revealed his longing for another teamup, saying, “I want to co-star with him again.” Matsuyama also said in a lively tone, “I was always depending on Ninomiya-san, but to hear that makes me happy. I want to appear together again.”

Smiling brightly while looking at the two men, Yoshitaka said, “These two get along so well starring together, it’s so charming,” and she playfully asked Ninomiya to do her greeting for her. Although bewildered, Ninomiya excited the crowd by speaking for her feelings, saying “What I tried to aim for was becoming (Komamura) Tae.“ Their co-star Yamada Takayuki also made the crowd laugh, saying “I’d like to introduce it to you without giving away the ending. A greeting tinged with a little tipsiness… well, yesterday I said a bit too much, so please embrace me warmly and watch over me.”

The movie is the final chapter to a two-part film, based on the popular comic series published in Shuukan Young Jump. The story is a Sci-Fi action piece about deceased humans who are summoned by the mysterious sphere, “GANTZ”, and are made to combat aliens. Part one was a major box-office hit, which recorded earnings of 3.3 billion yen (about $40 million USD). This movie, which continues the tale, has an original film-only story. Co-stars Hongo Kanata, Ayano Gou, Taguchi Tomorowo, and Itou Ayumi also appeared to greet the viewers.
