According to the Tokyo police department, on the afternoon of the 17th, visual kei band Neo�s bassist Yanagi (25), was stabbed in the back by his girlfriend in his apartment in Tokyo�s Kita ward. The girlfriend stabbed him with a kitchen knife and caused severe injury.

Yanagi naturally dialed 110 and the police officers rushed to the scene. When the police arrived they arrested Mori Asami (28) on charges of assault.

According to the investigation, after a heated talk about breaking up, it turned into a fight, and the suspect Mori stabbed Yanagi with a kitchen knife that was in the house. The police department is currently investigating the detailed motive.

Neo is currently disbanding and it is apparent that Yanagi will be absent from their disbandment live on the 18th.
