Gackt releases further information on his upcoming single, "Episode. 0"

Earlier this month, musician GACKT announced on this website that he will be releasing his 39th single this summer on July 13th.

The title of the single is "Episode. 0" and it will contain two songs, both of which are songs performed as "GACKPOID" on Nico Nico Douga using Vocaloid software. He is also doing a collaboration with Nico Nico Douga called, "Nico Nico Daikagi 2011 in Taiwan".

"Episode. 0" will have "mathru@KanimisoP" as its original composer, and the user "mathru@KanmisoP" uploaded the song to Nico Nico Douga using "GAKUPOID" - a software that uses Gackt's voice samples.

During that year, in June of 2009, Gackt held a contest called "GACKPOID CONTEST" with Nico Nico's users. "Episode. 0" won, with "Paranoid Doll" by natsu (SCL Project) as the runner up. It was then that he promised he would record the song with his own voice as a single.

The 1st press limited edition of the single will come with a DVD that shows GACKT's off shoot of the "Episode. 0" music video.�The track list for both limited and regular editions are the same.

"Berserk" creator�Miura Kentarou will be designing the CD jackets, as he did the oringal character illustration of "GACKPOID".
