Karaoke fans vote for the top 10 “most difficult songs to sing”

JOYSOUND, a popular company specializing in karaoke activities, recently conducted a survey to find out what the most difficult songs to sing were according to avid karaoke goers. The survey resulted in a compilation of 10 songs of varying styles that were deemed “most difficult to sing”.

Each song had different reasons for their difficulties as commented by fans, so check out the list below:

1. Hatsune Miku no Shoushitsu / CosMo@bousou P feat. Hatsune Miku

“This is on a different level! I don’t think humans can sing it…” (19 year old, female)

2. Oshakashama / RADWIMPS

“The timing and breathing are really hard… you have to breathe really fast” (16 years old, female)

3. Hitomi no Juunin / L’Arc~en~Ciel

“The falsetto in the chorus is something an amateur singer can’t do” (30 years old, male)

4. GO! GO! MANIAC! / Ho-kago Tea Time

“Too fast, am I the only one that can never sing this song perfectly?” (15 years old, female)

5. Setsunarensa / RADWIMPS

“The English lyrics move fast at some parts… when I sing it at karaoke everytime it feels like I’m hyperventilating (laughs)” (18 years old, male)

6. Tsume Tsume Tsume / MAXIMUM THE HORMONE

“Great lyrics, but my throat can get pretty bad when singing this” (16 years old, male)

7. Konayuki / Remioromen

“The chorus is too high and I can never reach it!” (19 years old, male)

8. SCATMAN (Basic Radio) / SCATMAN JOHN

“The rate at which the words are said. I was speechless when I first heard this song” (17 years old, male)

9. Kimitte / Nishino Kana

“A specific part of the chorus (“omoi dashite goran yo”) is really hard to sing. It’s too high and I can never sing it” (13 years old, female)

10. My Way / Def Tech

“The English parts are hard, but the singing (in Japanese) is alright” (24 years old, male)

     go go maniac is way too fast for a normal person to sing. LOLI think its edited to be fast? or the real singer is really awesome for singing that fast.

    Yeah, hyde’s falsetto in that song is kinda on the insane side. Then again, he can hit some insane notes in his natural voice, as well. /proudfan

    GO!GO! Maniac and Kimitte are really hard to sing. well most Nishino Kana’s songs are so high-pitched>_<  wonder why YUI's again is not here it's also difficult~

    Gotta agree w/ that. My voice just trails off & disappears whenever I try to sing that part.

     I haven’t even heard of any of the songs besides Kimiite. But that one is kinda hard for me.  for me.

    L’Arc~en~Ciel’s Hitomi no Junnin is a beautiful song

    For Laruku = Hyde vocal too great for me.
    For Radwimps = High vocal from Noda-san with fast tempo
    For Maximumthe Hormone = Daisuke-han & Max’ Ryo-kun vocal are too harsh to follow.
    For Scatman = Just too fast!!

     Hitomi no Juunin is here? I thought Anemone would make the list instead. It’s more difficult to make the wails in that one than in Hitomi no Juunin. I mean I’ve tried to pull off Anemone since I heard it first and I barely can last long enough XD

    Can’t say much for all the songs as I’ve never sung them before, but I don’t have much problems singing Remioromen’s Konayuki and Kana Nishino’s Kimitte. In fact, for Kimitte (and other songs sung by female artistes), I have to raise three keys higher than the original!

     I must say that “Kimitte” from Kana Nishino is easy to sing.. but the others are hard to sing.. love the comments.

    Wow, Remioromen’s Konayuki was on the list too. Well, I think, It means that they’re great. I mean not only Remioromen but also those bands or solo artists who were also male and possesses high voices even the girls can’t reach it :) I think it’s a gift. A gift where only few people can receive. :D
