The girls of Perfume brought their “Laser Beam” to the May 15th recording of Music Japan and gave a typically smooth performance.

    Yet another perfectly synced and flawless performance … I guess this comes only from 10 years of being in the industry and working together.

    Also Perfume always has some of the most intricate and interesting hand choreography I’ve ever seen among jpop groups.

    Um..lol. They rarely sing live. The autotune or whatever is part of their electronic style. Most of the time the microphone is more of a prop for them. People either hate them or love them for it. Anyway, this song isn’t my favorite song from them but their outfits are cute and their dancing is flawless like always!

    Interesting thing about autotune (or whatever method they use) is that it makes even their live performances sound almost the same as the studio ones. The pitch is automatically adjusted.
