On June 13th, actor Matsuyama Kenichi and talented child actress Ashida Mana appeared at a special screening for the movie "Usagi Drop".

In the movie, Matsuyama plays a clumsy guy named Daikichi, who suddenly finds himself raising his grandfather's illegitimate six-year-old child, Rin. The movie is based on the popular manga of the same name.

"There are lines like when Rin (Ashida) says 'Is Daikichi dying too?', but I really want you to pay attentions to the nuances born in scenes like those. Incredible scenes like those are where Mana-chan's talent shows," Matsuyama said, gushing over his adorable co-star.

Ashida also had a few kind words about her "Usagi Drop" father. "Matsuyama-san is so nice, he even played with me on his days off. It was fun," she said to the audience, showing that their on-screen relationship goes beyond acting.

Also present at the event were Satou Ruiki,�Karina (who both appear in the movie), and SABU, the film's director.
