A.B.C-Z’s Kawai Fumito breaks his leg during stage performance
Kawai Fumito (23) of Johnny’s Jr. five-member unit, A.B.C-Z, broke his left leg during the performance of musical ‘PLAYZONE’ 11 SONG & DANC’N’ at Tokyo’s Aoyama Theater in Tokyo.
According to Johnny’s Entertainment, Kawai fractured his foot after he jumped off stage on July 23rd. After he was examined, he was told that his leg would need at least one month for a full recovery. Consequently, Kawai will cancel the remainder of his appearances in Tokyo. Currently, no plans are being made to add a stand-in for his role, however, there will be some changes made to the structure of the stage.
Whether he would be able to appear in the stages in Nagoya and in Osaka – which will start in the middle of August – will depend on his level of recovery.
