On July 3rd, actress Matsushita Nao (26) made an appearance at the studio photography event for NHK Drama 10�s, �Kurumi no Heya�. This will be Matsushita's newest NHK drama since her 2010 hit series, �Ge Ge Ge no Nyobou�.

In this series, Matsushita will play 'Momoko',�the second daughter�of the Mitamura Household. Commenting on her role, she said, �This drama is based on Mukoda Kuniko�s novel, which makes you question the complicity of human nature. Through my role as 'Momoko', I would like to show this family�s way of life and the bonds between the family members.�

She added that she's always been a fan of Mukoda�s works. �Since I'm a fan of Mukoda's, I was surprised when I received this role and I found it difficult to act it out in a normal way; but at the same time, it's quite fun as well. I think Momoko�s charm point is that she will not show her weakness to anybody. She sometimes put up with it and sometimes, she just explodes. I will have fun acting in emotional and sentimental scenes with this character.�

The setting for this story is set in 1980�s Tokyo and will focus on Momoko, who takes on the role of being the breadwinner for the family instead of the father. This �home drama� will also focus on the family relationships that are steadily falling apart and Momoko�s struggles as she tries to pull her family back together.

The co-starring actors are Igawa Haruka (35), Usuda Asami (26), Seto Kouji (23), Kanie Keizou (66), and Takeshita Keiko (57).

�Kurumi no Heya� is scheduled to air from July 26th to August 30th every Tuesday at 10 p.m.
