On July 5th, it was announced that Korean idol group, KARA�s fourth single, �GO GO Summer!� sold 114,000 copies in the first week which placed second on Oricon Weekly Singles chart ranking.

This is the second consecutive time that KARA sold over more than 100,000 for the first week of July 11th with their previous single, �Jet Coaster Love�, selling 120,300 copies in its first week. With this, they broke the Japanese music industry�s 44 year record for any foreign female artists (including solo artists) that sold over 100,000 copies in its first week for two consecutive releases and is a brilliant achievement for KARA.

Even with male artists included, Tohoshinki (TVXQ) is the only foreign group besides KARA which was able to get consecutive singles to sell over 100,000 copies in its first week.

Since their debut with single, �Mister�, all their singles were able to place in one of the Top 5 for Oricon charts. In the charts, �Mister� and �Jumping� was ranked 5th place at its best, �Jet Coaster Love� was ranked 1st place, and this time, �GO GO Summer!� placed 2nd.
