SMAP member Katori Shingo attended a product launch event for Pizza Hut's "Fresh Mozzarella Series" as their CM character on July 5th.

When Katori was presented with a 810mm diameter (24-26 servings) special pizza, he gasped and commented, "To be honest, I could eat the whole thing if I tried." Then he consumed a slice of pizza, about 3 servings, showing off his big appetite.

The "Fresh Mozzarella Series" has been on sale since July 4th. Katori promoted the product saying, "The cheese stretches, so everyone, please try it!" He shared that he finished many slices of pizza for the filming of the CM, and said he could still eat more.

While taking a bite of the special pizza, Katori asked, "This huge size pizza, aren't you going to commercialize it?" Company president Watanabe Masao replied, "Maybe we'll consider it."

Katori will play the role of a pizza-loving DJ in this new CM. The "Logo DJ (Fresh Mozzarella)" episode will air July 15th.
