TOKYO GIRLS’ STYLE reveals PV for “Limited Addiction” + details on new single

tokyohive recently reported that idol group TOKYO GIRLS’ STYLE would be releasing their new single, “Limited addiction / We Will Win! -Kokoro no Baton de PoPon no Po~n-“, on August 24th. Additional details about the single and a full PV of “Limited addiction” have just been revealed!

The double A-side single will come in four different versions: two limited CD+DVD editions (A & B), a CD-bonus edition, and a regular CD-only edition. Those who pre-order the single through Lawson’s entertainment terminal, Loppi, by August 14th will receive a special photo of the girls in Lawson’s uniform.

“We Will Win! -Kokoro no Baton de PoPon no Po~n-” has been chosen as the ending song for the anime, “Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream“, starting July 9th.

    I love that despite of being idol based, their songs usually have a funk flavour that gets mixed pretty well with the uniqueness of J-Pop, and their more idol tracks are always catchy and cheerful. But his song is just so great.

    LOVE everything in this pv! chorus is awesome and
    not to mention pure ayano epicness~! ^^ the palette is so simple yet
    elegant, great shots of the girls and you can now really define their
    signature beat, the sound that is so TGS and the image as well~! just
    fantastic! and omg i can’t help it but im so happy with how
    ayano took the main vocals~! xD i know most people like hitomi but she’s
    already at the center so i love how ayano is given more to showcase her
    voice coz i prefer her’s and she’s got the best control of her singing
    as i’ve seen from their live stages so far and yuri definitely is like
    the 3rd in vocals! although we can see this means mei and miyu will get
    less, still it’s a good progress~ ^^v

    They should make this song as an OST for a really cool anime. Like… Cowboy-Bebop cool. haha

    Apart from the skirts that are a bit too short but… why do you have to but a 13yo girl in a bath full of roses with her leg out and another one dressed up with a woman´s red dress in that position that we can almost see her underwear?!!??!

    it is just an another style, not child like the others, they are more mature
    and behind the scenes, there are messages
    for example, Mei being in a room full of audio gear and having this soulless empty gear makes it seem like she is “addicted” to music as it makes her feel like she is alone in a different world. The being “chained” by the audio tape and blindfolded symbolizes the “addiction” even more.Miyu taking a bath in roses, basically a symbol of love
