It has been decided that "Antoki ni Inochi", starring Okada Masaki and Eikura Nana, will be exhibited in the 'World Competition Category' at the Montreal World Film Festival.

Okada commented, "I honestly can't say it enough. I'm happy!" and Eikura also stated, "To have it exhibited at a overseas film festival, it's like a dream! The movie is filled with the love of everyone who was involved with it. I am happy that more people will be able to watch it."

The 'Montreal World Film Festival' started in 1977, and is one of North America's largest film festivals. In recent years, "Okuribito" won the grand prix in 2008, director Okuda Eiji won the best director for "Viyon no Tsuma~Outou to Tanpopo~" in 2009, and actress Fukatsu Eri won the best actress for"Akunin" in 2010. In addition, actor Takakura Ken won best actor for"Poppya" in 1999, and director Kimizuka Ryoichi won best screenplay for "Dare mo Mamotte Kurenai" in 2008.

Director Zeze expressed, "This movie was made with the thoughts of 'living' in the reality of the present-day Japan. At first, I thought it was most important for the audience in Japan to watch this movie, but after this opportunity, I am hoping that I will be able to share these thoughts with people all over the world."

Festival president Serge Losique also commented, "It's a story about two emotionally numb people who realize the happiness and evanescence of living after coming in contact with death. The acting of the two main characters are perfect."

"Antoki no Inochi" is a movie adapted from a novel by singer Sada Masashi. After an incident in high school,Nagashima Kyohei (Okada) locks up his heart, and through his work, he meets Kubota Yuki (Eikura). The two slowly regain their courage to live after experiencing tragic events.

As we reported earlier, GReeeeN will be providing the theme song, "Koibumi ~Love Letter~", for the movie.
