Eikura Nana and Okada Masaki appear at Montreal World Film Festival for ‘Antoki no Inochi’

tokyohive previously reported that Eikura Nana and Okada Masaki’s newest movie, ‘Antoki no Inochi‘, would be exhibited at the 35th Montreal World Film Festival. On August 19th, they made an appearance at the prestigious film festival where they held a stage greeting.

Eikura and Okada both greeted everyone in French by saying, “We are very pleased to be at the historic Montreal World Film Festival“, which drew  applause from the 1,400 people in the audience. Prior to the showing of the film, they held a press conference, where they were well received by the press.

In recent years, many Japanese films, actors, and directors have been receiving awards and recognition for their works at the Montreal World Film Festival. Last year, Fukatsu Eri won best actress for her performance in ‘Akunin‘ and there are high hopes for another Japanese work to be recognized this year. Recipients of this year’s awards will be revealed on the last day of the festival on August 28th.
