It's been revealed that actress Sugimoto Aya (43) got married in April to a man of the general public. She made the announcement via fax to the media.

In the fax, she wrote, "I'd like to take the time to make an announcement that after a 13-year relationship, I have married a man who I have seen as a business partner."

Sugimoto made the decision to get married in February of this year, and filed for marriage in April. However, due to the major earthquake in March, she decided to keep her celebration to herself until recently.
