Kodansha’s CLAMP manga to be published online, starting with “Rayearth” and “Cardcaptor Sakura”

Publishing giant Kodansha has announced that it will be distributing the works of the manga artist group CLAMP in a digital format through online book stores.
The plan is to release all of the CLAMP works that have been published through Kodansha. To start things off, “Magic Knight Rayearth” and “Cardcaptor Sakura” have already been made available online. The release of other series, such as “Magic Knight Rayearth 2“, “Chobits“, “CLOVER“, “xxxHOLiC“, and “Tsubasa – RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE-”, are pending.
The “e-comics” are currently only available on bookstores for PCs and smartphones, although distribution for other feature phone models are in the works.
