Singer-songwriter ayaka has just announced that she will be releasing a new album on February 1st!

ayaka went on an indefinite hiatus at the end of 2009 to focus on treatment for Graves' disease. Two years later, ayaka will start the second chapter of her career with a brand-new album.

Titled "The beginning",�ayaka's first self-produced album will be released from her own independent label, "A stAtion".�The album will be available in both limited and regular editions; the limited edition will come with a DVD and a photo booklet in a special package.

Earlier, it was also announced that ayaka would be performing in this year's "Kohaku Uta Gassen". Her appearance at "Kohaku" in 2009 was her final performance before going on hiatus.
