GQ JAPAN announces "GQ Men of the Year 2011"

GQ JAPAN released their February issue on December 22nd, where they announced their� �GQ Men of the Year 2011�, awarding men from various industries who �shined the most� this year.

GQ Japan selected Arashi�s Ohno Satoshi from the entertainment sector for his many solo activities this year, while musician Sakamoto Ryuichi was acknowledged for his support to the earthquake victims through the power of music. Sasaki Norio, the head coach of Nadeshiko Japan, was also mentioned for his contributions alongside baseball player Darvish Yu. Meanwhile, Tanaka Yoshikazu (the developer for social networking service GREE) was awarded for his activities in the business scene.

These men were considered to be� �men who gave power to Japan�, and so they all wore charismatic suits that accentuated their strong personas.

GQ JAPAN�s official site and app (for iPhone and iPad) have also released the making-of video as well as an interview with� Sakamoto, Sasaki, and Tanaka, which is available until the first week of January.
