AKB49 manga on the cover of Kodansha magazine

Motoazabu Factory’s original production of an extra edition of manga artist Miyajima Reiji’s “AKB49~Renai Kinshi Jourei~” made an appearance on the cover of the January 20th publication of Kodansha manga magazine Magazine SPECIAL No. 2.

“AKB49~Renai Kinshi Jourei~” is a current serial manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine and it is a story about a male high school student who cross dresses as a girl and becomes an active kenkyusei member of AKB48. In this non-serial extra publication, the GEKOKU Jou Unit goes to the SKE48 stage on a field trip and Matsui Jurina is depicted as making fun of the protagonist.

This extra-serial publication marks the start of the new serialization of “AKB0048 Gaiten Tobitase! AKB Zerozero Jougakuen,” which will be broadcasted as the anime “AKB0048” starting in April. Originally organized by Mishima Hideyuki, Suga Tatsuro will work on everything related to AKB0048. The school in the anime will be a school that parodies the personalities of the AKB48 members.
