Recently, tokyohive revealed a preview for Watanabe Mayu's upcoming drama, 'Saba-dol'.

Following up, the opening and ending theme songs for the drama have finally been released as well. The opening theme, "Synchro Tokimeki", is Mayu's solo debut single. It's described as an up-tempo '80s song that perfectly bridges Mayu's youthful voice with a musical style familiar to older audiences. �The ending theme is titled "Saba no Kanzume", is a follow up song for the single.

AKB48's Mayu plays a dual role in the drama: the 17-year-old pop idol 'Watanabe Mayu', and the 38-year-old literature teacher, 'Usa Shijimi', whose timid nature and sloven appearance draws little respect from her students.
