Early last year, it was announced that the �ber-popular horror character 'Sadako' from the "The Ring" would be getting her own movie in 2012 called "Sadako 3D". Last month, the media revealed a few of major cast, in which Ishihara Satomi would play the protagonist (a high school teacher), while Seto Koji will play as her boyfriend (a web designer).

On January 26th, the film's staff revealed that Sadako wasn't going to creep out everyone all by herself; she'll be joined by actor Yamamoto Yusuke, who was added to the movie in his first role as a villain.

Yamamoto will play a mysterious man called 'Kashiwada Seiji' who tries to resurrect Sadako. He has shining green eyes and is a popular artist on the web, but one day, he suddenly disappears. There's a rumor that he was distributing a video that causes people to commit suicide and as such, he was being pursued by the police. Details on how he found out about Sadako's existence and why he's trying to revive her remain mum for now.

"It was difficult to grasp the idea when they said that I was going to play a villain in a horror movie," said Yamamoto. "Since I couldn't feel sympathize with the role at all, I played it with 'no feeling'."

He added, "This might be a horror movie, but the filming process was actually very cheerful and a lot of fun."

There have been four movies in the 'Ring' series: the original 1998 movie, �Ring� (starring Matsushima Nanako); the 1998 follow-up, �Rasen� (starring Sato Koichi); 1999's �Ring 2? (starring Nakatani Miki); and the 2000 prequel, �Ring 0 Birthday� (starring Nakama Yukie). �This upcoming film will also be based on an original story by Suzuki Koji, who is the mastermind behind the series.

"Sadako 3D" is set to open in Japan on May 12th.
