Cast of “Hungry!” celebrate Mukai Osamu’s 30th birthday
On February 7th, the cast of “Hungry!” threw a surprise birthday party for actor Mukai Osamu on set.
Reportedly, the surprise birthday party was planned on February 1st, which was also the 30th birthday of Mukai’s character, ‘Eisuke’. The party began when rock band THE BAWDIES suddenly appeared on set, singing the drama’s theme song, “ROCK ME BABY“.
Stunned by the event, Mukai exclaimed, “What is this?” After receiving a bouquet of 30 roses from Takimoto Miori, Mukai mumbled, ”I was thinking my birthday celebration would be on the 7th. I had no idea…”
Mukai and his character ‘Eisuke’ both turned 30 years old, which led Mukai to express, “Even in my 30’s, I want to do my best with a rock soul.”
