DIR EN GREY’s Kyo encounters vocal cord problems, cancelling North America tour plans
DIR EN GREY’s vocalist Kyo has been diagnosed with vocal cord nodule and voice disorder. Consequently, it has been announced that the group’s North American tour, which was supposed to start in March, has been canceled.
According to his agency, Kyo needs to have an early surgery due to the deterioration of his pharyngeal polyp, and he will consult with his doctor for more examination, including about the surgery.
DIR EN GREY was planning to hold their North American tour in total 14 cities starting in March.
It’s been undecided when Kyo would be able to resume his activities at this moment.
