Former Morning Musume member Fujimoto Miki and comedian Shoji Tomoharu became proud parents on March 27th. Fujimoto has given birth to a healthy baby boy (3,065g or around 7 pounds) at 7:03 a.m. on March 27th and husband Shoji was there to witness the birth.

Shoji was in attendance at the "Okinawa International Film Festival" in Okinawa on March 26th, and he immediately went back to Tokyo to witness the birth of his baby. He stated, "In the�future, �I will never forget the moment our baby was born and hearing him cry for the time... There is nothing more that I can say than being thankful to my wife, she did a great job. I love her more than ever today."

Since it's a boy and they want him to grow up "strong", "healthy" and be "kind-hearted", they will choose a name to express those feelings.

Fujimoto commented, "He is a precious little life. He is irreplaceable, and like a�angel. We will watch him grown together and take good care of him.�Furthermore, we are filled with gratitude for everyone who were looking forward to the birth of our baby."
