Singer-songwriter�Ieiri Leo will be singing the theme song for Amami Yuki's upcoming drama, "Kaeru no Oujo-sama"!
Titled "Shine", the theme song is described as a support song with powerful lyrics and a beautiful melody. The song will be distributed in Chaku-Uta form starting April 12th, which is the kick off night of the drama.
Ieiri will release "Shine" as her 2nd single on May 16th, and she is scheduled to hold release events in 5 cities nationwide. The singer commented, "I think 'Kaeru no Oujo-sama' is a drama that will make people feel the courage and warmth of music. For this reason, I wanted my song to become someone's support, and so, I made this song. I will be happy if 'Shine' will become everyone's powerful support song."
"Kaeru no Oujo-sama" is a human drama about a legendary musical star (Amami), who returns to Japan to coach the 'Mamasan Korus' that is on the verge of breaking up. It also stars Ishida Yuriko, Oshima Yuko (AKB48), Tamayama Tetsuji, Katase Nana, and Fukuhara Miho.
