Novelist Sakuraba Kazuki's "Fuse - A Girl Gunslinger's Detective Story" has been given the green light for an original animation this fall.
The animation is about a fictitious girl,�Hamaji, living in a fictitious city in the mountains during the Edo period. Sakuraba's story is based off a classic Japanese novel "Nansou Satomi Hakkenden".
Miyaji Masayuki, assistant director on "Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi", will be making his animation movie directorial debut with "Fuse".�The script will be handled by Okouchi Ichiro(Code Geass), with visual images by Okama (Evangelion), character designs by Hashimoto Seiichi (Cowboy Bebop, Mobile Suit Gundam), and music by Oshima Michiru (Fullmetal Alchemist).
