Model/singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu recently attended the 'Adobe Creative Cloud' event where it was announced that she will be working with photographer Ninagawa Mika on a new digital photo book.

Kyary will be the model for the e-book application 'Ninagawa < TOKYO > MAP' (tentative title). The model has expressed that she is delighted to work with Ninagawa. Ninagawa also mentioned that she is also happy to work with the singer/model. She complimented her stating that Kyary is "pretty and very modern" and that she is a "pop icon that embodies Tokyo [now]" as well as that she "loves her".

Last year, Ninagawa offered to photograph Kyary and did not feel any age difference between them. At the time, she felt that she was interesting because Kyary had been appearing in the media a lot, and now she's a superstar.

The new project will feature photos of Kyary in a "point of view" photograph giving the user a "Tokyo personal experience" through the digital application. They will be shooting in and out of buildings and shops, fashionable girls, and will also include photos in Harajuku as it has become a tourist attraction for foreigners.

Ningawa said that she gets very excited when she does something new and challenging, and that she will put her all into this project as she would like everyone to know that Japan is fun.

Publishing company Adobe will be releasing it using their Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, and will include a photograph collection and a tour map as a guide. Ninagawa is expecting that the e-book will be available in English and Chinese as well.
