On April 25th, horror icon Sadako from the 'Ring' series and the upcoming movie 'Sadako 3D' was invited to throw the opening before the regular Pacific League match between the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters and the Chiba Lotte Marines at the Tokyo Dome.

With her typical long black hair and white gown, Sadako appeared on the mound and pitched a no-bounce throw towards Lotte outfielder Kakunaka Katsuya. However, probably afraid of getting cursed, he avoided hitting the ball.

Sadako isn't really known for her physical strength and the strong throw seems to have used up all of her energy, causing her to collapse on the field right after her throw. Her great performance was met with a lot of laughter and applause by the spectators.

'Sadako 3D' will open in cinemas nationwide on May 12th.
