Koda Kumi to hold first Nippon Budokan concert on her 30th birthday
It’s been revealed that singer Koda Kumi will be holding her very first Nippon Budokan concert on her 30th birthday, November 13th!
As we all know, Koda married BACK-ON vocalist KENJI03 in December of last year, and she is currently 8 months pregnant. She commented, “I’m nervous that I’ll be holding my first one-man live at Nippon Budokan on my birthday, but I hope to give a more mature performance after giving birth and turning 30-years-old.”
In addition to Nippon Budokan, Koda will perform at Osaka-jo Hall and Nihon Gaishi Hall. She will also hold a concert at Koriyama Shimin Bunka Center, which was originally set to be held last year, but was canceled due to the Tohoku Earthquake.
Koda, who is currently taking a rest from her activities, suggested, “I want to hold a live that I can create together with my fans.” Consequently, the set list will be determined by her fans, who will get to vote for their favorite songs out of 52 singles and 10 albums.
“This will be my first time having the fans decide the set list. I’m already looking forward to seeing which songs my fans would like to hear live,” she expressed.
